Well, it’s been a nice fall but I think it’s over:

From pea sized to golf ball.

Lost probably half the soybean crop and maybe a third of the corn. Time will tell, the corn was just tasseling so that is a bad time to get hit.

Any shingled roof will be a total loss. Fortunately there wasn’t much wind. Lots of birds killed.

A welcome rain last night, the beans were in dry dirt. Now if it just knows when to quit.

Down to freezing again last night, one more night of it then maybe warm up.

Long term forecast indicates this might be out last go ‘round. Lots of folks calve in March, least there is sun.

Bloody hell, Mac! Is it a bit early for snow?

Rained in the night, but no strong winds which were forecast. Dull and overcast, but a bit brighter in the west
