I don't think we have had more than a mm or 2 of rain here since early June. Good hay making but imagine the arable crops are struggling?

In theory have purchased a reasonably tidy Bailey 11 ton with sprung axle and drawbar on SS 8 stud. No hyd gate but can't have everything. I rang Bailey to get an idea of new prices and also discovered that they are apparently flat out building 28 trailers per week with a lead time of plus 4 months...

Newer, smaller version than one we have although ours is manual tailboard. JB will moan like hell at the 8 stud running gear but with what you may do with it and a bit of tlc it will ok. Keep the spring & rocker pins well greased, the spring/axle + drawbar spring bolts FT. Looks tidy for 12 year ol...

Root crops are an exception but there is a fair movement towards ctf and doing less cultivation changing rotations and those wonderful cover crops. Soil is ffuked but it can be recovered if it’s treated right. I to look up ctf :( Are you sceptical of cover crops? A friend of mine in Kent is sold on...

No Provided they are fed and watered they will just grow and grow. The hydroponic set up in the old underground stations in London run 24 hrs.
