Your problem is format and codecs. I expect it is a .avi file??? and the optical disk drive (cd player) and its software doesn't support the codec anymore. One option maybe to downloaded onto your hard drive and then find a player that will support that codec VLN usually supports most things.

In which case instead of ffuking about saving it to hard drive and finding other media players it be just as easy infact easier to just download the right codec or a full codec pack ! Plenty about online.

Now I have tried this CD or DVD I have here on the DVD player on the TV and that dont work in that at all.

Are you trying to play it at 78? Think they need to be on 45.
