I want to put my Disco onto limited use, red diesel, no tax etc, how do I go about it?

Go onto the .gov pages and search restricted use.

If you still have a local DVLA office you can download forms V10 and V112 and take them along with the V5 with the taxation class changed ,also enclose a covering letter saying that you require it for moving between parcels of land farmed by you and for distances between 10 metres and no more than 1.5 km. The MOT exemption is 6 miles per week so you either mot it or on paper keep the mileage below that . If you don't have a local office you can post this to DVLA , Swansea SA99 1DZ and you will get your limited use tax disc back within 2 weeks if all is well

Just sort it then use it anyway till you get caught. Keep the forms in the glove box filled in minus the date. When you get pulled quickly fill the date and tell them you "we're just heading to the post office....."
