Dunno. I deliberated for months over which 3 to go for and settled on the Silver.

Never used it.

Silver I think. May be able to put you in touch with someone who bought one recently-never used it so may be for sale.

I'm still not convinced a Go-Pro is better enough over the one I have to justify the extra price, and you can get the for 120 quid now http://www.dogcamsport.co.uk/action-pro ... amera.html

Give them a ring at dogcamsport and they will tell you all about them, they sell both then you can make an informed decision

Looks as though it would do all I want.
I already have a Go-Pro on the copter thingy but doesn't look like I'll be getting that back in a hurry...

He went into great detail when I rang them about the actual hardware on the Astak vs Go-Pro. There are other action cameras, I've seen some good pictures from Sonys, but they are very expensive. What ever you get get yourself an Ultra Mount. It screws into the 1/4inch hole on any camera so you can clamp any camera to just about anything. That's where I get my cool camera angles from. You may want at tether too, so if whatever clamp or mount you have does fail it doesn't break.

Ah! Are we talking cameras???

I have a very good condition (slightly foxed) Box Brownie for sale. A small black thing.

On second thoughts, it could be a Vermeer....................

Someone comvinced me I'd not notice the difference in definition between the two.

From memory the only difference is the frame rate at ultra high definition? Silver should be fine for 99.9% of stuff.

Yup, not definition but frame rate. Or summat.

Anyway, with the little use it's had I'm happy the silver is good enough for sticking on cars and aircraft which is what I guess Muck wants it for.
