Yup, not definition but frame rate. Or summat.

Anyway, with the little use it's had I'm happy the silver is good enough for sticking on cars and aircraft which is what I guess Muck wants it for.

The other one I had was a Sony but the Go-Pro thingy Pret has looks a nice unit.
I just want to do some cockpit filming over in the States.

Could you just use your existing camera or smart phone for that? If my Sony RX100 had time lapse and a waterproof case I would use that instead.

The iPhones tend to blur the foreground and focus on the distance or visa-versa.

I don't have an Iphone. But is it possible to adjust the aperture? It probably is.

Probably one advantage of the action cameras for what he wants to do is the wide angle lens, so he will be able to get the whole cockpit in

After many months of research, deliberating and waiting for the latest models, I have gone and purchased a Contour+2 action cam as it is smaller and more sleek than a lot of competitors.
http://www.cnet.com/products/contour-plus2/

Although it comes in the box, I won't use the waterproof case when flying and will have it mounted to my headset or flying helmet depending on what I'm in.
It arrives later today so I will get it up and running and do a quick review.

Get the camera up and running.
The camera.
Definitely the camera.

It's actually on first view very good.
Easy to use, brilliant quality, excellent adaptability.
Happy so far.
