 Post subject: What I found today.

Found this while walking across a field of fodder beet. Stood out amongst millions of flints like a sore thumb. One edge has been worked to a sharp edge and when you pick it up, it naturally falls into your hand with the sharpened edge pointing towards you. I reckon it would make a great scraper. Probably was for somebody many years ago.

I think it's a flint knife rather than a scraper, having been shown such things in the past, but I could be wrong, and it's a lovely find anyway.

No, I found these on different fields many years ago. One in the Cotswolds and one up here in Norfolk.
