anyone done anything snazzy to this effect? New layout of lounge means its going to have to go up ont wall but preferably at an angle.

Now i still have my ALDI Tevion 32" and its a fine thing, though perhaps not as light as some modern counterparts, does this mean it'll need done with QE2 esque anchors into the bricks behind the board or not?

May get someone to do it as i generally tend to only indulge in DIY when its well hidden (coat hooks in the hall cupboard, flooring the loft)

Buy a new lighter bigger set in the sales and a proper hinging system which will allow you to swing the set out at various angles.

My mate at Lakenheath did his , and it does look and work great.

Don't do it yourself!!!!!!!!!

Mrs Dustin is currently deploying all funds on baby stuff. A new TV ain't happening until the tevion goes bang. Nothing wrong with it, its flatscreen, HDMI and has good picture and sound.

You'll be surprised how small a bracket can be for a 32" TV. I've got three mounted on walls. You just need decent SOLID walls.

House is traditional build with metal stud walling so will have to drill right through and anchor to the thermalite blocks. Ffuk doing it myself as ill demolish the wall most probably.
