Sprinkling of snow first thing. Then turned to rain. A bit of sleet in the wind now but warming up so no snowman making today.
Here we go again, hold tight.

We've got maybe four inches of snow. Six to eight inches where it's drifted. Cold night coming tonight. Tomorrow could be fun.
Had to laugh that the Met Office weather forecast has failed. Maybe it's the wrong kind of snow.
Fasten your seatbelts. We're off.

Our Met Office forecasts have been wrong for two days now: Yesterday was supposed to be relatively warm, with a bit of sleety drizzle. In fact it snowed continuously from about 9 am until 2 pm, giving us about 4", then today was supposed to be colder with snow, but it's actually warmer and has been drizzling steadily for several hours at +2.5C.

Cold 'ol night last night - but maybe not as cold as I expected. Beautiful sunshine at the moment. Still frosty, but beginning to melt in the sun.

Some parts got it worse than us, I reckon.

We got as low as -5c last night. I reckon Huffy could have been in the coldest part of the country. (If he'd been on the other side of his kitchen window!)

No frost here this morning. Sunny skies, though, with a strengthening breeze. More cloud about now, but still bright.

The roads this morning were totally covered in ice. Rain during the night had frozen totally. Car smashes all over the place. Still bloody cold right now.

Was the wind gusting too? Ground a bit slippery underfoot? Wrong chokes? Your starsign rising in the east? :D

A little slushy snow on the car this morning but it was hosing it down so it all disappeared in no time. Cold, dry and windy after.
