Bit of a scorcher, irrigation will end this week with just enough water left in both lagoon/lakes to keep the fishies alive if they are lucky

Going to get one of the slurry pumping boys in to move water from one pond to another, easier than lifting all my main line pipes to do it. 8)

Awoken by thunder at half four this morning. A drop of rain. Then another storm at half five with heavy rain.

Fell asleep again. Got up and you can't see where the rain has been.

Supposedly more forecast for later.

Similar here in the peoples republic of Bostonia, however, as I type this it is thundering, lightening, and raining faster than the spouts can take it :o

Struggled to get 2mm here between 4pm and 7pm. Heard several thunder claps well over to the east.

46mm here between storm yesterday afternoon and an hours worth of thunder, lightning and rain in the night. Do well.
Here we go again, hold tight.

Terrific storms here last evening. Bloody hell, did it rain! Had to slow down when driving, from my usual 30 MPH to a safe 15 MPH.

A drop more in the night as well.

Sun now shining brightly, but feels much fresher.

In the end it made 4.5m, by lunchtime our man went and finished the wheat he had to leave last night, then went off and did several OSR headlands inbetween spits of drizzle.
