Probably.
It was around the time of the old rear wheel steer loadall and Sandersons and the Sambron was twice as fast.

They had the J24s on a farm I worked on and it was a fantastic step up from a 2 wheel drive loader tractor, 2wd masted f/l and a 2wd TLBH. They had an early JCB loadal 2wd on demo and it was ffukin useless. When I was hunting for our first 2nd hand telehandler I did look at an old Telescopic J24 (or whatever it was) with a Perkins engine and that did seem like a heap of shyte.

I reckon the chap who was next door till 15 months back might still have his Sambron. He used it for everything. Lifting. Knocking in fence posts :o . Ditching. Even digging holes with a pallet fork to put in a hanging gate post :o

My first Telehandler was a Matbro Telstar (I think). Brilliant on concrete. Shit as soon as it went off-concrete.
