FW30

Post by NQIT » Mon Jul 03, 2017 8:09 pm

TIHMB getting a new customer out of a hole. Long story short-usual contractor who dessicates his OSR let him down. Reckons his Agribuggy wouldn't get through the crop  However, tucked away in his yard is a decent looking FW30. His man reckons she runs if you connect enough batteries to crank the Cummins. He may be interested in selling. What's it worth?

Why was it parked up? Which engine L10 or 903? Auto, manual? Tyres?

There's a nice looking FW40 on tractorhouse for $19900. £5,000 if it goes?
keep honking, I'm reloading

Not sure why. There was a few sheds with stuff parked up. I got the impression he never likes to sell anything. Engine is a 903. Tyres looked good-super singles. Not sure on gearbox as I was a guest and don't like to appear too nosey. He did reckon the tyres were worth more than the rest of it. :?

this age machine arent worth a lot anywhere regardless of the paint job
A lot depends on the expensive parts like diffs and final drives and pivots etc
betweem $10,000 and $20,000 in Aus dollars
No more than $20,000 for a real good one

It's worth less than people think as most of them are bust up internally or the engine needs work.
The amount of these that get passed around because people realise that having to spend twice what you paid to get something to working condition when you'll never work it is more than they bargained for.
A group of us on here came to our senses when we were looking at buying an artic Massey.
It's a lovely day
