I have 2 bullocks that do this, and have done for quite a while now.

Any coughing?

Same ones all the time?

No change of feed? Drier feed & problem regurgitating?

If they're otherwise perfectly healthy I'd just say it was some kind of 'bad habit' they'd developed, when they're regurgitating/cudding?

Yep same two the whole time. They both look healthy so I think you are probably right that it is a habit they have picked up.

The tongue protrudes and there is profuse salivation and affected animals are unable to eat/swallow resulting in a gaunt appearance.

They both eat well and look fine, so don't think so.
