Mrs OLD had not a had a mammogram for several years, thank God she found the lump and the staff at the breast care centre at Llanelli hospital were golden to her from the diagnosis, during the horrendous news that it was Grade 3 cancer [which hits you like a bus]. She said she would forego treatment, the specialist told her she would have 2 years maximum and the final year would be horrendous.

The surgeon has reassured her that it has all been removed. Just the 2 weeks wait until the results come back from the USA which will say if chemotherapy will be required.

We move to near Ironbridge in Shropshire on 22nd June, now got to get her into the system at Shrewsbury hospital for continuing treatment.

Please will you all ensure that your female family members have a regular mammogram to prevent the Hell that she has been through.
Hopefully thats more good news than bad, the waiting must be bloody horrible though.

Bright start to the day. Not as warm as last week, but distinctly passable.

Should definitely help.

Whispers around here that we could do with a good rain now. Still wet if you dig down, but the top could do with a nice sprinkle.

Battened down the hatches waiting for Hector to arrive.

So far nothing more than a stiff breeze. Yet again, I reckon they have over egged the pudding.

Woke up to a good old crash bang thunderstorm.

The misses doesn't like lightening, she holds on tight.
