Bit cold late last night then it all collapsed and for bonfire weekend its unseasonally warm. It used to be brass monkeys when our kids were into bonfires and fireworks!

What a wonderful day for November. Sunny, mild and generally very pleasant.

A spell of such weather in November is called 'A Little Saint Martins Summer'.

Don't know why, but there it is....................

Yesterday started off with a heater on in the workshop, turned it onto low by mid morning and nearly turned it off mid afternoon.

Today, main doors open although did have a waistcoat on but that came off by lunchtime when it reached 15c! although it did cloud over a bit late afternoon but it seemed to be heading East Anglia direction in a hurry!! Got one of the last drilled fields on the chalk downs stuck waiting for rain, seeds have struck but afraid to stick their heads out. Might get the kick needed tomorrow?

Sunny, breezy and mild.

Early rain, but a truly lovely late autumn/early winter day.

Never felt the need, luckily my total smoking career comes to just 2 puffs. Sod that game.
