No, we’ve had several smaller snow events already. Those were in the 2-3 inch range and melted within a few days.

White-out conditions at noon.

Hard to get a photo of a white-out.

Went from rain to sideways snow in about a half hour. Fortunately the ice didn’t last long.

Warm, drizzly, typical for December.

A lovely day. Shower first thing, but now the sun is shining and it's very mild. :D

A truly beautiful winter's day. Frosty first thing - and still so in the shade - but the sun is shining from a clear blue sky and there isn't a semblance of a breeze. Great day for a walk - or a run in Pret's case. :D

It has to be said it's been ffuking awful today, 22mm overnight, then rain all morning, barely got light all day, slightest hint of sunshine tomorrow and I'm off to the golf course.

Here its been the closest I can remember to two memorable caravanning summer holidays when the kids were small, Lanberris Nr Snowdwn and a couple of years later Freshwater East, Pembroke.

only 7.1mm of rain today but its managed to be bloody wet here nearly all day long!!
