Rained most of the day yesterday, and some of the night by the look of it.

It is now beginning to clear with a hint of sun. It's been cool for the time of year, but that's autumn, I suppose........

low risk of precipitation tomorrow. Grounds as hard as rock. Wouldn't think we'd had 1/4" back the end of last week!

Beautiful autumnal morning. Glass is rising, and it looks as if we are in for a hot weekend.

Oh yes, oh yes, oh yes, Sahib. It is truly beautiful this morning, oh yes......... And the Harvest Moon last night was simply stunning.

Yes, an Indian Summer - but actually, FF, you have the wrong continent. The saying an 'Indian Summer' is actually derived from the North American Indians, not the Punjab India. I forget the actual explanation, but it is the case, and I only found out a couple of years or so back.

If we get a spell of exceptionally mild and fine weather in November it is called a 'Little St Martins Summer'.

I'm full of useless information......................
